Hen

I have worked on this over several years, and now it is finally finished! This is a soapstone hen that I made over the course of two one-week sessions in 2004 and 2005. I have finally finished polishing her. I still need to coat her with a protective wax so that she can sleep outside. I don’t have room for her at home, so I gave her to my parents, she will live in their patio.

Flo this is very awesome work! This looks so smooth and satiny and I would love to see this in real life. Beautiful patterns in the rock too. I bet your parents will treasure this very much.
